Director Government Program Management

We need a strong leader who has experience and expertise in the Federal Executive Branch Marketplace: Must possess extensive knowledge of the Fed Government Marketplace, including applicable regulations and policies; must understand relevant capabilities of competitors, breadth and depth of AT&T products and services. Previous experience selling to, or managing client relationships with Federal government. Overall development, direction, and management of a strategic client relationship.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develops/cultivates senior level relationships with existing clients ultimately leading to a more robust relationship with consequential sales growth. Responsible for account strategy, profit and loss, plan execution, program management, lifecycle management, escalations, stewardships and customer satisfaction.
  • Works to grow the client relationship by identifying new business opportunities. Drives team to execute on contract terms and conditions and works to ensure on- time delivery of projects that support the client's business.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Responsible for the financial performance of all assigned accounts.
  • Typically manages the work efforts of supervisors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree preferred. Typically requires 10 or more years of experience and prior managerial responsibilities. Federal Government Experience.

Required Clearance: TS with ability to obtain SCI

Desired Experience: Experience in the Federal Market and sales management. Significant professional services experience with on-site program management, strong technical understanding, proposal work for large competitive procurements and experience with customers at the most senior levels of Government. Experience with manufacturing, avionics and customer support highly desired.
