Warner Bros. Consumer Products Inc. seeks a Director, Franchise Management & Marketing for the Franchise Management & Marketing department. In this role, the Director will develops worldwide strategic Franchise Plans and executes marketing activations for WBCP for Animation and Family Classics portfolio, focusing on Looney Tunes, under leadership of VP, Franchise Management & Marketing and develops programs that drive brand awareness and relevancy as well as all communication and marketing tools to achieve collective goals.  In this role, you will serve as the day-to-day liaison for assigned Franchises/Properties with Warner Bros. Animation, WAG, WB Theatrical Pictures, WB TV and members of these respective teams to ensure WBCP priorities are achieved in a cross-collaborative fashion.

Responsibilities include:  
  • Developing, managing and presenting Franchise plans, marketing activations and brand guidelines for assigned franchises/properties. Marketing plans to include:  property objectives, strategies, tactics, brand values and guidelines, retail thematics and sell in tools, marketing programs and associated budgets.
  • Identifying and brainstorming unique ideas and executable programs to drive innovative franchise plans.
  • Working to develop cohesive and synergistic plans across all disciplines within WBCP (Retail, Sales, Creative, Product Development, etc.)
  • Ensuring that all franchise plans and marketing activations are designed and implemented to meet specific measurable goals (short term and long term).
  • Coordinating with all WBCP departments to develop cohesive initiatives, including but not limited to promotional activities, trade and/or consumer promotions, advertising and other activities.
  • Working with Category teams to identify incremental business opportunities and to increase sell-in and sell-thru of licensed products.
  • Working with Sales & Retail Business Development team to ensure brand placement and presence at retail is maximized.
  • Working closely with international offices to support regional implementation of strategies and marketing activations.
  • Participating in licensee meetings, when appropriate.
  • Partnering with Category to support global licensees and develops best practice strategies to support global and local partners in all categories.
  • Recommending and implementing market research where appropriate. Managing annual tracking studies related to assigned properties.
  • Managing annual budget and quarterly financial reporting on expenditures.
  • Building and maintaining relationship with applicable colleagues in sister divisions:  TV, Interactive, Digital, WHE, Animation teams, etc. to establish a reliable and timely flow of information and materials related to assigned properties.
  • Working collaboratively with category, creative and sales to determine creative strategy for property style guides.
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years experience in related field.
  • Brand and/or Franchise management experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in managing agencies and 3rd parties.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
