Prudential is seeking a Director, Executive Talent Acquisition. The successful candidate will report to the VP, Executive Acquisition and Mobility and will be responsible for supporting Prudential's efforts to make talent a source of strategic differentiation by effectively identifying and recruiting top talent for key leadership opportunities within the organization. The incumbent will advance Prudential's brand across numerous markets and professional communities in the highly competitive talent marketplace and will need to be innovative to formulate research strategies to identify world-class talent for Prudential’s critical executive level roles across the enterprise. Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end executive searches, including developing and implementing innovative techniques to identify, assess, present and make recommendations on candidates
  • Work closely with hiring executives to understand their specialized needs and assist in the development of complex offers
  • Work one-on-one with senior candidates, providing 'high touch' partnership throughout the recruitment and on-boarding processes
  • Ensure recruitment strategies incorporate internal, external and diversity sourcing strategies
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and name generation for candidate development and talent pipelining
  • Source candidates to build a database of diverse talent, both internally and externally, conduct benchmarking and market intelligence
  • Build proactive relationships with passive candidates to engage for current and future leadership opportunities
  • Identify emerging recruiting platforms to optimize sourcing, pipelining and the customer experience
Qualifications Qualifications:
  • BA/BS required
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition either with corporate or executive search firms
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated consultative skills required to work with the most senior-level executives at the firm
  • Utilization of market intelligence to connect with top talent
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills, with the proven ability to 'close' complex offers is preferred
  • Proven ability to take the lead in developing and presenting detailed offer letters in collaboration with Law, Compensation, outside counsel, hiring executives and senior HRBPs
  • Strong working knowledge of executive compensation, including, but not limited to, short and long-term incentive plans, employee benefits programs, relocation programs is preferred
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a network of internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, HR leaders, executive search vendors and senior level candidates; must possess strong executive presence
  • Ability to learn market and competitive changes quickly, best-in-class search process, including candidate research and outreach techniques
  • High level of personal accountability, integrity and authenticity
  • Collaborative team player, with the ability to work across a matrixed organization
  • Experience creating search strategies, mapping markets and gleaning industry insights
  • International recruiting experience is a plus
  • Experience working in the Financial Services Industry is preferred
