The CW Network is seeking a Director, Current Programming to join their team.  
  • Supervises current scripted programs for The CW primetime line-up.
  • Researches and recommends writers and directors to staff Current shows.
  • Forge relationships with writers, directors, producers.
 
What do we require from you?
  • 3 years previous executive level experience in programming required.
  • BA/BS degree in related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of television programming industry required.
  • Strong relationships with creative and talent management community.
  • Experience in story analysis and providing story notes.
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and other levels of personnel as well as outside attorneys, agents, managers, and producers; in person and on the telephone.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
