Director-Corp Strategy Integration

The Corporate Strategy team for AT&T Advertising & Analytics is responsible for developing the overall go-to market strategy for AT&T; Advertising and Analytics, including existing businesses and emerging businesses as well as driving strategy as it relates to M&A activity and is responsible for leading all merger integration

activity as applicable. The Director of Integration will apply broad management skills in an area that will contribute to AT&T's inorganic growth.  Working with the executive leadership, Corporate Strategy Director, Corporate Development Lead, M&A Attorneys, and a team of dedicated functional experts in IT, Finance, Talent, and more, you will create and execute the plans to bring each newly-acquired company to AT&T. 

The position is located in New York City.Successful candidates are skilled project managers with broad functional knowledge who can see the big

picture while juggling a myriad of details. This is a fun, high-energy job.

The ideal candidate should have significant experience with program management for consulting projects or corporate strategy teams. This candidate will also have hands on experience with mergers and acquisitions integration programs with emphasis on project management experience, executive presentation development, coordination across various functional teams, and demonstrate passion for the evolving Advertising landscape. The Director of Integration will be responsible for:

•  Participating in the Due Diligence process to learn about the acquisition target(s)
•  Working with Corporate Development lead and Director of Corporate Strategy to     

    develop the integration strategy and synergy plans that support delivering promised

    value of the deal
•  Forming and leading the cross-functional team to create a detailed integration   

    project plan
•  Designing and launching a regular cadence of 1-on-1 meetings and team

    teleconferences, manage the project to keep the milestones on track and, using 

    sound judgment and collaborative skills to address any issues
•  Regularly reporting progress, escalating issues if necessary, to executive team
•  At the project’s conclusion, lead retrospective analysis to improve M&A playbooks 

    for the next deal
•  Building trusted relationships across the various AT&T teams, organizations, and

•  Creating presentation materials for internal approval for executive approval

•  Demonstrating confidence and poise in presenting hypotheses, conclusions and

    recommendations to senior management
•  Manage a small strategy team

The successful candidate will excel in the following:

•     BA/BS in Business, Strategy related discipline, MBA preferred

•     3-5 years of relevant experience

•     Proven success at influencing and leading resources across multiple functions,

      workgroups, and management levels

•     Established credibility with upper management

•     Demonstrated excellent project management, communication, and teamwork   


•     Ability to formulate the big picture while working on project details

•     A tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility to changing projects and priorities

•     Desired: A familiarity with legal contracts
