Director – Business Development (Non-supervisory role)

TV Network Contracts

Location – Los Angeles, CA

AT&T advertising and analytics is creating a new option for advertisers and publishers to find and reach specific audiences at scale in trusted, premium content environments. As a current leader in advanced TV advertising, we help advertisers deliver the right message at the right time, on any device within a premium content environment.

The Director of Business Development will help execute on this vision. With a focus on TV network negotiations, the role will ensure advertising inventory is procured in partnerships led by DirectTV and AT&T wireless group. The ability to work across multiple departments through influence over direct control is a must.

Qualifications and Responsibilities include:

  • At least 8-10 years’ experience in contract management and negotiation at media company. Experience includes previous positions at MVPD, Virtual MVPD, or Advanced TV space.
  • Work closely across multiple departments to ensure advertising needs are upheld. Departments include legal, and business development at other
  • Review and drive the creation of financial models for understanding risk and reward for advertising unit as part of larger agreements.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Present to internal and external executive stakeholders
  • BA/BS required. MBA preferred
