Join the Onsite Digital Optimization team in the Integrated Marketing organization. As a leader on the Optimization team, your primary responsibilities will be to consult and collaborate with Campaigns Managers to optimize marketing opportunity within the onsite (wellsfargo.com and online banking) and email channels in order to drive customer engagement and deepen relationships, leading to improved usage and retention among Wells Fargo customers. This role will support retail consumers and small business units.

Onsite Marketing Optimization responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting with Campaign Managers to determine the most efficient approach of achieving campaign objectives/goals through the onsite and email channel communications
  • Identifying and articulating the business implications from changes in marketing channel key metrics through on-going business reviews and/or meetings with channel partner’s
  • Utilizing analytical skills and interpreting real-time data and analytics to assess individual campaign effectiveness; and when necessary, making adjustments in optimization strategy to drive improved engagement and conversion rates through expansion/pruning of campaigns
  • Sharing best practices and learnings broadly across the organization, including senior management, marketing managers and lines of business
  • Developing onsite and email campaign/channel strategy leveraging Data Management Platform, Dynamic capabilities, and Test & Learn optimization through partnership with agencies/vendors, marketing teams, analytics, and channel managers
  • Consulting with onsite and email capabilities and execution team colleagues regarding the expansion of targeting/eligible populations as well as new and emerging targeting opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance within onsite campaign and channel support, by having proper controls, checks & balances, early detection reporting, channel governance adherence
  • Exploring data flagging and how that impacts onsite targeting and/or suppression

Strategic Projects support responsibilities will include

  • Partnering with Campaign Managers, Channel Managers, Database Managers, Creative Services, Campaign Analytics, and external vendors
  • Contributing to channel-related projects including modeling variable inputs and configuration updates to ad serving technologies
  • Assisting with strategic direction and enablement of next generation web marketing capabilities


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms, or social media





Other Desired Qualifications
  • 8+ years related analytical database marketing experience, including email and/or online marketing working experience
  • 3+ years of strong analytical skills; utilizing and interpreting data and analytics to quantify and improve marketing results
  • Direct experience managing digital marketing campaigns with a leading financial institution.
  • Proven campaign management experience working with marketing professionals to define targeting strategies that drive results
  • Strong strategic and consultative skills to convey learnings and insights within a business context along with implications, risks and opportunities
  • Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders
  • Proven marketing campaign experience working with marketing professionals to define targeting strategies that drive results
  • Experience making use of predictive models or customer segmentation schemes to drive highly targeted campaigns
  • Relationship management skills with the ability to build strong trusted relationships with business partners
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the natural ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent written communication skills are a must as well as proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience using advanced Excel features (e.g. pivot tables, charts)
  • Experience with IBM Campaign Management Tool, MicroStrategy, Teradata Structured Query Language (SQL), Infor Interaction Advisor (IA) extremely desirable
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience




Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000
