Digital Learning Lead Strategist

A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of clients employees by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of PwC to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy. Our Learning and Development Strategy team maintains relationships with clients, stakeholders, and key partners for learning and development resources that will help serve assigned client groups. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for building and managing relationships with appropriate leadership team members, learning committees, and other client service representatives to understand the assigned groups strategy and priorities related to their learning and development goals.


Responsibilities

As a Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively lead the practise by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines
  • Building strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalise on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectors
  • Identifying and discussing key issues with our clients to identify potential opportunities
  • Responsibility for a majority of day to day client communications
  • Responsibility to shape and deliver various projects that exceed the expectations of our clients and our own assignment quality criteria
  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Responsibility for management of engagement financials
  • Helping to grow and develop our team through hands on training and coaching

The Digital Learning Lead Strategist will be responsible for formulating and delivering a digital learning strategy to meet the requirements of key stakeholders by influencing and working collaboratively with PwC leadership across all lines of service to lead the firm's digital learning initiatives.

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

  • Understanding and prioritizing business needs; driving the xLOS digital learning strategy; determining and recommending the most effective digital solutions to meet desired business outcomes while challenging traditional thinking on delivery methods.
  • Advising LOS and xLOS clients on setting digital learning and development strategy around the use of external providers and technologies to thoughtfully leverage the learning and development ecosystem.
  • Understanding industry recognized thought leadership, and possessing a deep knowledge and grasp of emerging technologies to recommend leading edge digital learning methods and tools.
  • Operating with a One Firm strategic lens as an L&D Leader on updated learning technologies to increase the percentage of digital learning and development delivery xLOS.
  • Extensive appreciation for the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Thought leader-level abilities with a proven record of success, directing efforts in the following areas:

  • Leveraging deep subject matter specialist knowledge to bring a balanced perspective on current digital learning and development trends, issues and emerging technologies.
  • Applying extensive digital learning design and curriculum experience to various learning methodologies such as classrooms, conference, synchronoss, asynchronous, and enabling technologies.
  • Developing and leading the execution of the learning and development digital strategy; as well as write, communicate, facilitate and present cogently to and/or for all levels of leadership and staff.
  • Managing effectively within a rapidly changing environment and organization, and adjusting digital learning programs on an as-needed basis.
  • Interfacing confidently with senior leadership, either Line of Service or business area partner leaders, to driving collaboration, presenting new ideas, and maintaining awareness of digital learning and development activities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships at all internal and external levels, peers to leaders including effectively navigating a complex matrixed organization.
  • Performing both an individual commitment to continuous improvement through innovation, simplification and leveraging industry-leading practices, and holding team members accountable for doing the same.
