The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Cards and Retail Services, Deposit Products Group, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Payment Solutions, and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. As a Senior Digital Consultant within the Virtual Channels Authentication team, you will be responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of a new enterprise authentication capability, which will serve as a common authentication rules engine and interface that can be extensible across the enterprise, and support more consistent customer authentication across multiple Wells Fargo channels (including Contact Centers, digital, branches, etc.) . In this role supporting this strategic initiative, you will be responsible for interfacing with many Line of Business partners to understand their authentication needs and leading a scrum team responsible for delivery of the Minimal Viable Product and future enhancements. To be successful in this role, you must be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and someone who thrives as a leader ofin a matrixed team in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. You also must be adept at implementing initiatives that require complex technical requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Business ownership of this new enterprise authentication capability, including setting strategy, identifying future enhancements to support ongoing business needs, and developing and socializing roadmaps with key stakeholders
  • Defining user stories and business requirements for new features & functionality
  • Leading an agile scrum team responsible for technical implementations of capabilities in the Wells Fargo environment, in coordination with internal project delivery teams and vendors using Agile methodology
  • Tracking and partnering with other program/project teams to determine and understand interdependencies/intersection points
  • Identifying, articulating and evangelizing emerging strategic opportunities
  • Staying informed of fraud, authentication trends and industry solutions.
  • Being an innovator and thought-leader, and identifying solutions to day-to-day business issues
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with partners across lines of business, channels, risk and compliance, information security, fraud strategy, and technology
  • Defining and managing specific KPIs for this authentication capability

Locations: San Francisco or Charlotte; Other locations may be considered

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of business strategy or product management experience
  • Experience organizing and leading large-scale initiatives within a matrixed organization
  • Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting complex ideas in simple ways
  • Ability to manage and successfully execute several major initiatives simultaneously and prioritize effectively, in an environment which has a continual sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships and to lead and influence across functional groups
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
  • Knowledge and understanding of online authentication, authorization, fraud, or security
  • High comfort level with ambiguity and ability to pivot when needed
