WFVC serves consumer and small business customers through digital (online, mobile, and social) and contact centers (phone, email, and correspondence). We provide customers with convenient ways to manage their accounts, enable digital payments, provide solutions that meet their financial needs, and more. WFVC serves over 27 million customers through our digital channels and support over 5.8 billion customer interactions annually through digital and contact centers.    The Virtual Channels Authentication (VCA) group within WFVC organization is responsible for managing channel risks for the virtual channels (online, mobile and phone) and creating and maintaining a secure operating environment for Wells Fargo’s 25MM+ online and mobile users, which enables business growth and innovation, mitigates fraud, and maintains customer trust. With increasing bank services going mobile, including card-free ATM and wires, a customer’s reliance on a trusted mobile phone is paramount.  As a digital consultant within Virtual Channels Authentication (VCA), this role will have the opportunity to design, develop and implement strategies and solutions that enable secure and simple authentication of Wells Fargo customers using biometrics. In this role, the individual will contribute thought leadership to enable and expand authentication services, formulate strategy and drive implementation, and oversee development/monitoring of performance metrics for enterprise authentication services.  The primary focus for the role will be to support the day-to-day product management of implementation of biometric authentication capabilities (e.g. fingerprint / facial recognition / voice recognition) as well as expansion of these capabilities for additional use cases in both WFVC and across Wells Fargo.  The core responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee technical implementations of capabilities in the Wells Fargo environment, in coordination with vendor and internal project delivery teams using Agile methodology.
  • Day-to-day product management of biometric authentication products and enterprise authentication capabilities. 
  • Relationship management of core project teams including Technology, Vendors, Product Management, CX, Customer Service, Risk & Compliance, and other cross-channel LOB partners.
  • Subject matter expert for biometric authentication solutions including working with the vendor on implementing solutions in support of our product roadmap.
  • Consults with management on decisions of strategic core services.
  • Coordinates product / service introduction, product profitability, and ensures compliance with legal, regulatory and privacy regulations, policies.
  • Product management of new development Projects - Management through all phases of the Agile product management life cycle, including drafting of initial project scope documents, identification of user stories through completion of detailed specifications, and  project advocacy through project completion.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting



Desired Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of biometric authentication, digital authentication, authorization, fraud, or cybersecurity
  • Knowledge and understanding of authentication and detection solutions used by online financial platforms
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors for delivery of mobile software solutions
  • Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of mobile software security
  • Ability to manage small to medium size projects or initiatives, from initiation through implementation
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prepare management level presentations
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
