WBA is a recognized innovator in the development and manufacture of expansion joint control systems for the construction industry.Where the Chemistry Happens… Design Detailer (1802314) – Buffalo, NY Principal responsibilities include:
  • Producing CAD designs and drawings for structural components, while assuring completion and submittal of projects.
  • Using engineering skills to work with Regional Sales Managers on technical questions and provide instructions and interpretations of designs to customers both internally and externally.
  • Ensuring all projects conform to all applicable codes, specifications, company and industry standards.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You… Basic qualifications:
  • A minimum of an AAS degree is required
  • 1 year of experience in technical drafting or design is also required.
  • 1 year of experience with 3D modeling and design drafting software is required.
  • 1 year of experience with word processing software and spreadsheet creation is required.
  • 1 year of experience with written, verbal and presentation skills including producing detailed records and reports.
Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four (4) year College or University is preferred.
  • Experience using Visual Basic and SQL language is a plus.
  • A background working within structured teams is a plus.
