Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF), a division of Wells Fargo Commercial Capital is one of the top lead arrangers of asset-based loans in the U.S. with a large and diversified portfolio of close to 3,300 customers and more than $34 billion in loans outstanding. WFCF offers traditional asset-based financing, specialized senior secured financing, accounts receivable financing, purchase order financing, and supply chain financing to a wide range of companies throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

This position will be responsible for the LOB data integrity support team in Capital Finance and will be the primary point of contact for the Enterprise Data Governance group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Capital Finance implements an effective and executable data integrity strategy covering metadata inventory, data lineage, entitlements, change mgt, control assessments, monitoring, remediation and compliance.

Position Summary:

• Provides leadership in developing and ensuring adherence to an organization-wide data integrity governance framework.

• Provide leadership in establishing data and metadata quality goals, and ensuring the design and implementation of initiatives to achieve those goals.

• Develop strategies to prioritize and remediate data quality issues that align with business needs and/or regulatory compliance initiatives.

• Defines measurement standards and collaborates with business partners to achieve consistent agreement and application of definitions, measurements and interpretation.

• Manage the development of audits and controls structured around business processes, data quality target state, and standards for metadata content and documentation.

• Exercises the usual authority of a manager and is responsible for the management of individuals and matrixed teams focused on defining data quality requirements and delivering on data integrity


• Communicate with senior management to ensure data integrity strategy and execution is aligned with business strategy and operations.

• Develop a comprehensive master data model for multiple MDM domains in partnership with technical and functional business teams.

• Manage resolution of data issues identified by business, risk, audit, controller or governance groups.

• Support data change management needs of new development and integration initiatives thru PMO and Technology groups.

• Primary point of contact for Capital Finacne, RMII, EDQ and Enterprise Data Dictionary initiatives.

• Establish a sustainable eOne change management routines.

• Maintain Metadata repository and automation of Impact Analysis routines.

• Remediate SHRP issues assigned to Data Governance

• Complete recurring lineage attestations per SLAs.

• Manage and triage multiple incoming priorities effectively with understanding of customer needs and service level

• Maneuver comfortably through complex policy, process, & people-related organizational dynamics

• Proactively communicate changes through both written and personal messaging to all levels of management

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: business analysis, analytics, or project management
  • 6+ years of data management experience, data analysis experience, or a combination of both
  • 5+ years of management experience
