Cybersecurity - Active Directory Manager - Locations Open

A career in our Identity and Access Management practice, within Cybersecurity and Privacy services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurity programme that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth. As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organisations, partners and customers. You’ll play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats. Our team helps organisations manage their controls over access to critical systems and assets by focusing on infrastructure access management and maintaining security on processes and services.

Responsibilities

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred skills

? Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Understanding Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, ADFS, Azure, and the underlying components that support these technologies, such as DNS, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML/OAuth, PowerShell, WMI, and similar network and management protocols
  • Having an extensive grasp of the threats posed to on-premises and cloud Active Directory environments, such as lateral movement, credential theft, and abuse of privileged access
  • Understanding risks and processes involved in consolidating Active Directory environments
  • Implementing security architecture and strategies to deliver consulting security solutions to clients
  • Developing and maintaining the overall Infosec strategy, mechanisms for policy enforcement, definition of ownership, monitoring mechanisms, and process and controls
  • Designing and maintaining security architecture both at the enterprise and solution levels
  • Assisting on client-facing business development, engagement delivery, practice development and thought leadership as it relates to the development, assessment and implementation of Information Security solutions

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success managing project work streams in a system security, controls or information security management environment, specifically one or more of the following information security domains: 

  • Security Architecture and Strategy (Integrated Risk Management)
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Large Complex Program Execution/Implementation
  • Security Function Design and Governance
  • Incident Management
  • Security Infrastructure

Minimum years experience required

  • 6yrs

Minimum Degree Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Certification(s) Preferred:

CISSP, CISM, CISA, MCSA or MCSE.
