New Business Operations is responsible for new account setup, contract issuance, and managing relationships with Financial Advisors. New account setup encompasses the review of applications to ensure that all transactions are issued accurately, timely, and comply with state and federal regulations. A significant focus in the department is driving the successful issuance of contracts through transfer of assets from other financial institutions. We also focus heavily on building and maintaining meaningful relationships with internal partners and Financial Advisors which is a critical component to successfully issue contracts. Description Daily responsibilities for this role include: Provide coaching to a team of 8-12 New Business associates. demonstrating strong ability to provide exceptional customer service that differentiates us from our competition. Maintaining strong service standards while contributing to a culture of ethics, learning and teamwork. Strong influencing, educating and coaching skills while meeting all team goals. Managing daily volumes and workflows through coaching and developing others. Executing New Business Procedures, forging and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal partners to deliver a superior customer experience. Emulating the model behaviors and demonstrating the core competencies that inspire others in the department to follow. The team will be working with new and existing financial professionals, providing customer service and pre-sales support. Given the scope of the team’s responsibilities, ideal candidates for this role should demonstrate the ability to be a customer advocate, creative problem solver and versatile communicator. We are looking for individuals who are self-starters, dependable to their core, who have the leadership ability and initiative to provide a best in class service experience for Prudential Annuities. Qualifications Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience
  • Operations experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships
  • Financial Services industry experience a plus
  • Able to work effectively with colleagues across multiple locations / virtually
  • Must be receptive to and embrace change
  • Proficient in receiving and delivering detailed performance feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, drives deliverables and meets all required deadlines
  • Technically sound with strong process skill set. Able to work through complex scenarios and deliver streamlined solutions
  • Demonstrated peer leadership in diverse team settings
  • Flexibility with your schedule
