Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Our Wells Fargo Auto Risk Management team provides credit quality guidance and portfolio and operational risk management through education and collaborative customer relationships, by providing professional expertise and empirically-based tools that support strategies and decisions to enhance productivity.

Our Credit Risk Portfolio Consultant 4 will be responsible for performing analyses to support dialer and early stage strategies for Wells Fargo Auto, including design, development, implementation validation, and test/control performance analysis.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Continual testing of account risk assignment within the predictive dialer space
  • Improved strategy for predictive dialer campaigns
  • Enhancement of text messaging campaigns
  • Creation and analysis of collection e-mail campaign effectiveness
  • Development of effective daily monitoring to validate dialer strategy implementation
  • Creation of optimal time to call and phone number to call analysis
  • Ad-hoc analyses related to dialer and collector efficiency/effectiveness

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of SAS programming experience
  • 8+ years of risk experience

Desired Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing complex data manipulations in SAS.
  • Ability to work independently, to deliver quality results, and to manage projects to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical/quantitative problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in team environment, independently and across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in an effective manner
  • Experience leading complex analysis
  • Strong SAS programming expertise.
  • Experience preparing/presenting material with senior management
  • Familiarity with collections
  • Ability to research, trend, and analyze data
