Full Time Posting Job Description OVERALL SUMMARY
 
Coordinator, Digital Media Operations will act as the primary point of contact concerning processing of file-based digital media, primarily imagery, that is created and/or acquired by HBO Marketing, and specific to a given set of off channel services.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acts as the main liaison between HBO Marketing and a specific set of off channel services and multiple distribution partners.
  • Initiates, facilitates and tracks file-based image creation and movement in order to ensure that all imagery is delivered and/or acquired at the proper technical specifications.
  • Works with Design and Photo Services to prioritize workload and see that deadlines are met in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for facilitating file delivery to a specific set of off channel services.
  • Provide technical assistance and documentation to HBO Marketing as it pertains to file-based workflows.
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of emerging technologies in the areas of file types, digital imaging, post-production, transcoding and file delivery systems.
  • Managing schedules across multiple stakeholders.
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
  • 2-3 years of design and editorial support in the entertainment industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, perform under pressure and pay close attention to detail.
  • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and awareness of the Adobe CC Suite.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new automation, and scripting tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of the digital media space (including social media) and new technology platforms (e.g. broadband, wireless, VOD).
  • Understanding of how technology impacts design.
  • A passion for cross-collaboration.
