Clinical Services - Consultant

Job DescriptionIn the Consultant role on the Specialty Product Safety Team, you will be responsible for managing the internal reconciliation process of adverse drug event (ADE) and product complaint (PC) submission and performing the complete quality review of all adverse drug and product complaint forms.

You will work both independently as well as collaborating with other Product Safety team members to ensure accurate and timely manufacturer reporting and adherence to manufacturer contractual requirements
Primary duties and responsibilities include:

o Perform daily internal reconciliation of submitted adverse drug or product complaint forms with internal source system data (CATS, HBS, Casetrakker/Dynamo, and Manufacturer databases)
o Manage the entry of required adverse event or product complaint forms based on the daily internal reports
o Perform complete quality review of all adverse drug and product complaint forms
o Review for required data elements wand content to adhere to manufacturer and/or FDA guidelines
o Communicate with pharmacy and nursing personnel for corrections or clarifications

This position requires strong collaboration skills as it is necessary to work cross functionally with Pharmacy Operations, the Compliance and Persistency Nurse Team, as well as Coram and ACS. The ideal candidate will have independent leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills.Required Qualificationso A minimum 1+ years of Specialty Pharmacy Operations experience as a front-end/processing technicianPreferred Qualificationso Experience with Microsoft Access
o Minimum of 1 year of Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, Product Safety or related industry experience required
o Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
o Experience with Microsoft Access
o Strong attention to detail skills
o Excellent verbal and written communication skill, with the ability to successfully interact with members of leadership
o High organization skills with the ability to multi-task while maintaining focus on established priorities
