Assignment CapsuleBe a part of our Clinical Space- Provide guidance to our member population to help them achieve lifelong well-being. Humana is seeking a Clinical Advisor EAP provide assistance to employers concerned about the needs of specific employees as well as other organizational matters. You will be responding to callers regarding their needs in a call center environment. Primary responsibilities to include but not limited to the following.
  • Provide referrals
  • Provide follow up for EAP clinical cases
  • Make referrals to member for in-person, telephonic and/or video-based clinical assessment, counseling and referral services to corporate employees and their household members
  • Electronic documentation of all case activity
  • Provision of electronic resources via email where appropriate and live chat
  • The number of hours worked each week in this role will be variable, likely between 5 - 20 hours per week, depending on business need
  • Participation in special projects as needed

Role Essentials
    • Master’s Degree in clinically related field and a license for independent clinical practice required
    • Two years of clinical experience
    • Ability to demonstrate sound clinical judgment, sometimes under emergent conditions
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multi-task workload
    • Computer and keyboard skills sufficient for live entry while conducting telephonic assessments and gathering of information
