The Distributor Client Solutions team at Nielsen is dedicated to driving change by being a part of the media measurement evolution.  We strive to help the our clients and internal associates adapt to the growing population filled with OTT/Streaming consumers who are rapidly changing habits and challenging the industry to new technologies in advertising and content measurement.  The Distributor Client Service team is responsible for selling and servicing Distributor clients with Nielsen’s Total Audience Suite.

 

Nielsen is looking for an entry-level Client Service and Sales associate who is intrigued about working with one of the world's leading measurement, data and analytics companies. This position is focused on selling a set of products across Nielsen's Distributor client base. The position is great for someone who is comfortable in his or her ability to interact with people they don't already know and enjoys working on distinctive projects. The position will provide an opportunity to learn from Nielsen's vast global assets and people and to grow within the company over time.

 

Goals: Account Manage and Drive revenue from a set of Distributor clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and prioritize client requirements.
  • Resolve all client issues in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Answer client questions relative to product updates and product information effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities and develop proposals that address the client’s core business issues.
  • Draft client presentations that tell a story by translating data into key insights.
  • Develop solid understanding of each product and solution, and how the data can be used to improve business performance.
  • Be a liaison between all the internal partners at Nielsen and external clients.
  • Conduct client meetings to build and maintain relationships.
  • Attend client- and industry-specific meetings.
  • Sales administration - maintenance of opportunity pipeline and contract management.
  • Support team members in managing other areas of the accounts within your vertical.
  • Engage in other responsibilities as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-4 years of experience in sales, a background in television and/or digital analytics a plus
  • Motivated to drive sales and delight clients largely using phone, email and online meetings
  • Able to study data sets to derive key insights
  • Experience with Google’s software and Nielsen metrics a plus
  • Strong team player - this is a sales role but one that will adapt with the team over time
