Corporate Responsibility and Community Relations (CRCR) operates as the link between the company and the communities we serve, focusing on stakeholder engagement and corporate social responsibility strategies and programs. The group includes teams that manage the company’s, corporate philanthropy, environmental affairs, community relations, diversity and inclusion, and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) risk management.

CRA Compliance is responsible for independent oversight of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and provides regulatory guidance and expertise to the lines of business whose activity is evaluated for CRA.

In this role you will have responsible for building, training and managing a compliance team that will provide oversight and guidance to business partners related to CRA.  Establish and strengthen new and existing relationships across the business areas.  Communicate CRA regulatory compliance requirements and performance expectations to business partners.   Engage in business change activities to ensure effective compliance risk management.  Monitor key performance and risk metrics for CRA and provide oversight and guidance to business partners related to CRA compliance training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead and manage a team of 5 compliance consultants
  • Lead the execution of compliance processes and functions related to the Community Reinvestment act
  • Facilitate the data collection, Reporting and analysis for regulatory audits and reviews
  • Provide consultation and guidance to regulatory bodies regarding CRA matters, policy and interpretation.

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 8+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of management experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Community Reinvestment Act pertaining to compliance risk management
  • Experience effectively working through business changes to ensure effective compliance risk management
  • Experience communicating CRA regulatory compliance requirements and performance expectations to business partners, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders
