Channel Sales Manager

Sales professionals drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations and closure Job Description Individuals in this role will collaborate with Industry Client Account Leads and Account Executives to identify new business opportunities in existing and new accounts. Role Responsibilities:
  • Will drive awareness and demand for Content Analytics services and products to/with/through partners in North America (NA) include the Accenture Client account teams and account team leadership.
  • You will work closely with the regional Deal Execution Managers and Marketing for demand generation, and delivering information to partners and channels.
  • You will develop a deep understanding of the Accenture ecosystem and regional priorities to define and execute marketing plans within Accenture to support growth objectives.
  • You will work closely with top account teams to develop and execute best-in-class joint-marketing plans.
  • You will work closely with marketing and the Content Analytics sales team to develop sales tools and marketing campaigns that: increase brand awareness, create demand for Content Analytics services and products, enable the selling efforts, and drive revenue
  • You will act as the primary marketing contact with the Client Account teams including regular participation in team calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions
  • Travel, as necessary to execute sales and marketing initiatives
  • Provide Market Analysis, Competitive Analysis and Go to Market Strategy for acquiring new business.
  • Assist in important client engagements and ensure that services solutions offerings are aligned to the client's goals and agenda.
  • Play a key role in enhancing the business capabilities of Accenture's Content Analytics services and generate ideas and opportunities for growth.
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Uses own judgment to determines optimal solution to recommend.
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or teams leads.
  • Interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal guidance.
· Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams.
  • Manages medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
  • Identify and create appropriate alliances with product companies
  • Provides Strategy and thought leadership at organization level responding to changing customer needs in their core engineering business
Travel Requirement up to 80%
