Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The Business Systems Consultant 5 position will be a part of Conduct Management Analytics’ Research and Support Team and will be responsible for several key tasks.

  • Internally managed data infrastructure guidance and coordination
  • Provide BSC support for the Internal Detection Application (ERMT) and the Internal Fraud Application (EIT)
  • Provide BSC support for the development of SIFT and Internal Fraud strategies in coordination with Internal Investigations
  • Document, track, and facilitate all internal initiatives, Oversight Team engagements, Legal and External Counsel Requests, MRA and Consent order analytics support, and other projects that impact the team
  • Ab Initio and Collibra Integration for business and technical metadata
  • Model governance controls and updates
  • Data exception log review and resolution planning
  • Issue communication with alerting technology team
  • Internal task management and reporting
  • Strategy modification and Pac 2000 coordination for data and alerting environments
  • UAT coordination and execution for CMA and CMIRP data projects
  • BSC support for onboarding and integration of vendor tools and conduct data

The Research and Support Team will look to the BSC to implement a solution for organizing and prioritizing ad hoc research requests and other efforts being undertaken by Conduct Management Analytics. By necessity this environment leverages several database instances and BI/SQL/SAS tools. Having a BSC with awareness and expertise in these environments will streamline the technology integration process.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience within the financial services industry. .
  • Experience with Risk and/or Compliance applications and processes
  • Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio for document preparation and presentations.
  • Understanding of SQL and SAS
  • Ability to manage internal and external workstreams
  • Experience leading large implementations, working with multiple levels of management.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with a track record of consistently meeting deliverables.
  • Experience with loss prevention, fraud, internal/external fraud, anti-money laundering and anti-bribery and corruption
