  • Able to follow support procedures and troubleshoot day-to-day support issues with Providing direction with respect to integrating similar or redundant platforms as a result of merger and acquisition activity
  • Works directly with development and other technology teams utilizing more senior BSC Playing a leadership role in the strategic evaluation and decisions surrounding building or buying systems
  • Manages time between support, tasks on large projects, and may lead small projects
  • Provide timely estimates for small project and support tasks.
  • Capture requirements for small initiatives that development can work with.
  • Interacting regularly with business and technology professionals to understand pro-actively the technology needs of the firm
  • Driving for results, conveying a sense of urgency and bringing issues to closure despite obstacles and opposition.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 5 + years of experience analyzing business requirements and transforming those requirements into business rules
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 5+ years of investment industry experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technology experience preferably in the investment industry.
  • Good understanding of investment business, processes, and concepts including derivatives, equity and fixed-income instruments and transactions
  • Experience translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications
  • Experience writing and executing test plans
  • Experience providing Functional Support for investment applications
  • Experience collaborating with other business system analysts and/or software developers
  • Ability to handle heavy workloads while remaining focused in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with and knowledge of WellsCap or Evergreen Investments strongly preferred.
  • Analysis skills including ability to write complex database queries
  • Experience with WellsCap systems such as SS&C Advent APX and Markit EDM.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, process, design, and toolsets
  • Ability to work overtime and travel
