Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Systems Consultant in a growing team working with the latest technology in Enterprise Information Security. As part of a highly interactive and productive team, the selected candidate must be comfortable making decisions, expressing opinions and providing feedback.  The candidate will participate in projects and initiatives that require team collaboration as well as individual action.  The highest level of integrity and confidentiality is required to ensure the privacy of the information with which we are entrusted. The selected candidate will primarily work with the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) engineering team and have a dotted line responsibility to DLP program manager. Within the scope of the engineering responsibilities you will create, document and maintain key business processes for the applications supported.  You will facilitate communications with the larger Data Loss Prevention organization, as well as other groups within EIS. You will participate in a variety of technical and non-technical efforts and support the Program Manager with ad hoc analysis and information gathering.

Responsibilities include:

  • Become an expert in a variety of process areas under the DLP umbrella, including business continuity, change and problem management, service level agreements, and asset management.
  • Lead or participate in the creation and maintenance of DLP documentation and procedures.
  • Participate in planning and coordination of system maintenance and upgrades to all DLP environments.
  • Work with engineering teams in the development and deployment of new technologies.

 



Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 2+ years of business continuity planning experience
  • 2+ years of change management experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of data loss prevention concepts and techniques
  • Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security principles, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo Information Security Management System (Policyworks)
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with PAC2000 Change/Problem Management system or similar tools. 
  • Experience with Remedy CMDB asset management system, or similar tools.
  • Advanced problem solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to complex problems
  • Experience with documentation of policies and procedures.
  • Strong aptitude in learning new technologies and processes
