Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. Join Wealth Management as a Business Initiatives Manager in Wealth Digital, Desktop, and Innovation.  Wealth CRM Desktop is responsible for developing the focus and features that benefit Advisors and their clients who use Wells Fargo Online® and Mobile Banking. The goals for this position and team are to:

  • Connect Wealth LOB’s to enterprise initiatives to digitize, improve business process, and integrate into enterprise business processes
  • Represent Wealth’s interest on enterprise POC, pilots, and advocacy groups
  • Evaluate vendors for use in Wealth LOB’s
  • Partner with Key Wealth LOB Stakeholders with Wealth BA and Desktop Teams
  • Grow new Wells Fargo Team Member Desktop and execute on the strategic vision for a persona based CRM/Desktop Tool 
  • Contribute to Wealth client satisfaction and deepened relationships by providing an exceptional CRM and collaboration tools for advisors

Responsibilities include:

  • Product management activities supporting the Wealth Desktop
  • Collaborates with business, technology, and support functions/partners to create a differentiated experience for Advisors/Relationship Teams
  • Analysis and assessment of  usage data and trends
  • Serves as subject matter expert for Wealth on WIM and Enterprise CRM projects
  • Coordinates efforts of product management, other organization units and vendors in development, implementation and communications while ensuring programs adhere to compliance/privacy regulations and policies
  • Coordinates resolution of complex and high profile product and client issues
  • Identifies change management implications of in-flight projects
  • Coordinates/supports communication efforts to ensure maximum penetration
  • Monitor Team Member Enablement and Mobility program

The Business Initiatives Manager – Wealth CRM Desktop is responsible for leading product strategy, consulting, development, enhancement, marketing, execution, management and performance analysis for one or more products that have high impact on the organization’s profitability and success. Accountable for forecasting accuracy team member experience and impact and is usually is directly accountable for product sales volume, market share and profitability while ensuring adherence to compliance/privacy regulations and policies. This includes monitoring the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, product positioning in the marketplace, and management of established product to attain financial objectives. Responsibilities include leading efforts to obtain and analyze customer/competitive information and market research related to development and testing of services/products; partnering, negotiating and consulting with business group/regional management to obtain input and buy-in; establishing pricing policies, distribution strategies, end-to-end technical/systems and customer requirements, and performance measurement techniques; integrating efforts of product management, other organization units and vendors in development, implementation and maintenance of systems requirements, distribution channels and product introduction, marketing and training. Negotiates vendor contracts and manages vendor relationships. May manage a wide variety of marketing resources and services directly or virtually. Work is accomplished through managers and product managers.

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

The preferred locations for this position are Charlotte, Minneapolis, San Francisco, and New York but other Wealth Management locations will be considered.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
  • 3+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications

  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Knowledge and understanding of CRM projects, tools, and systems
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of product management in the financial services industry

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in product execution and roll out strategies among private bank/top tier client segments
  • Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Investment and Fiduciary experience
