Business Continuation & Records Analyst

About the position

The Business Continuation and Records Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Business Continuation and Records Management Office functions as a member of Workplace Solution Group (WSG) Operations. Through individual effort and team participation the successful candidate will assist department management and members in achieving compliance with Enterprise Business Continuation and Records Management standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for helping to ensure that effective and efficient programs requirements are maintained across the various WSG business groups. He/she will be directly responsible for:
  • The accurate administration of program data, information processing and the timely execution of program reporting for deliverables including business area databases and reporting dashboards for business continuation and records management monitoring activities
  • Production of and maintenance of program metrics;
  • Assist in the analysis and oversight of Record Hold Orders;
  • Support of the WSG Share point sites;
  • Development of information and analysis to help drive program decision-making and compliance
  • Maintain and administer program policies, procedures and other published documents
  • Coordinating various program maintenance activities
  • Supporting efforts to enhance processes / procedures
  • During a business continuation event, this individual may assist the department to coordinate/support internal recovery efforts across all operations
In addition, this position may support/participate in other Business Administration programs and projects as needed. Position may require minimal travel to WSG’s operating centers (Currently: Newark, NJ, Hartford, CT, Ft Washington and Scranton, PA, Dubuque, IA, Portland, ME, and various cities in California). Qualifications A successful candidate will need: - Strong computing skills including Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) - Good analytical and communication skills - Strong organizational skills - Self-motivation and an attention to detail - Ability to influence others through collaboration and partnership - Previous Business Continuation or Records Management experience a plus - Understanding and knowledge of risk assessment, controls and resolution of gaps a plus - Understanding of Sharepoint and MyRecords a plus
