B2B Sales Development Internship Program

In our B2B Sales Internship Program, you’ll spend a summer, starting June 3, 2019, gaining real world selling experience by being immersed in our business-to-business sales process. Learn about the science of consultative selling and our portfolio of products through dedicated training.You will hear from experienced mentors and leaders across the company to give you insights on how to become a top seller at a Fortune 10 company.All this leads up to you selling our advanced technology solutions to small and medium-sized businesses around the US.


You’ll also get access to extensive learning and development opportunities through our award-winning AT&T University. Here’s your chance to network with both leaders and fellow interns around the business, participate in collaborative projects, and even give back to our communities through philanthropic opportunities.


What are we looking for in a B2B intern? We are looking for ambitious students with a real passion for sales and technology. You need to be a self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to help drive our results. You will need to know how to effectively communicate with various levels of leadership and clients in meetings and in presentations. You’ll also need to be naturally curious about the many innovations developed at AT&T every single day, and willing to network and build relationships that will benefit your career.


  • Undergraduate student – at least sophomore standing as of June 2018
  • Sales Certificate or Coursework preferred
  • Coursework in Business or Technology a plus
  • Related experience with cold calling and sales a plus
  • Identified leadership capability – academics, athletics and/or extra-  curricular activities
  • Strong interest in a sales career after graduation
  • Relocation may be required. Summer internships are in Dallas, TX, El Segundo, CA, and New York City, NY for 10-12 weeks.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  •      Be able to start internship on June 3, 2019
