Overall Purpose: Lead strategy, development and execution of AdCo’s marketing and advertising programs. This position will author the details of the marketing plan and manage the team to rigorous execution. Be accountable to the metrics of success for marketing and advertising programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for the development and execution of a clearly defined marketing and advertising strategy in a manner that supports consistent business growth, enhances brand equity and drives commercial preference. This position holds the primary responsibility for planning, organizing, and managing marketing and advertising functions to achieve the company objectives of business development, profitability, and brand visibility while ensuring a consistent marketing message and position in alignment with corporate strategy. Successful leaders in this role will have a proven track record of building and leading a team to achieve specific goals in response to customer and business needs. This team leader will exude executive presence and exemplify excellence in cross team collaboration with her/his counterparts in other marketing functions, sales, operations, product management and finance. The position will require a sophisticated understanding of the digital marketplace. Specific categories of expertise should include, but not limited to: digital advertising; addressable television; data-driven linear television; programmatic advertising; audience targeting; ad serving; audience data collecting/tracking; media reporting and analytics. The business leader in this role will have a deep sense of customer needs, and an in-depth knowledge of competitive offerings and strategic direction. From this fact base, the leader of Marketing Programs, AdCo will create a clear value proposition for customers and clients and the overall corporate brand position.

It is imperative that the head of AdCo Marketing Solutions is an individual that can lead in a fast paced, high-energy environment and has a passion for creating solutions out of complex data and with minimal direction. The ideal candidate must be able to execute against a number of responsibilities simultaneously, requiring a genuine ability to multi-task and deliver.  Supervisory: Yes

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Create, manage, coordinate and execute marketing strategies and implement tactical plans that drive commercial preference and profitability of the product family and meet/exceed business expectations
  • Develop unique value propositions as well as call to action oriented advertising targeted toward key customer segments that increase brand awareness and drive incremental commercial preference
  • Lead and manage Event Marketing, Sponsorships (National/Regional), Direct Marketing, CRM/Email Marketing Programs, Advertising (video, print, digital, OOH), Search Marketing, Paid Social Media Marketing, Paid Branded Content, Website, and Internal Creative/Design Services.
  • Build, maintain and manage the Media Lab, working with other marketing function to ensure that content and demos are consistently fresh and relevant
  • Set-up and manage Advisory Board/Council
  • Manage industry org involvement and board participation
  • Manage investment and resource allocations to support corporate ticketing and events such as concerts, sports (including but not limited to: super bowl)
  • Achieve targeted results and ensure timely and effective execution of marketing tactics and programs in compliance with budgetary guidelines
  • Develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Develop and prepare key messaging and presentation material for senior management
  • Identify, interpret, and capitalize on marketing trends
  • Creating compelling, high-impact content for the web, marketing campaigns, press and sales tools

  • Coach, mentor and raise the team’s ability to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession talent

  • Manage marketing budget


      ·Bachelor’s degree in related field. MBA from top program preferred

      ·10-15 years of experience with 5+ years of experience in or related to the digital media and television technology industry

      ·Track record of bringing to market and scaling various technology and media solutions

      ·Excellent written and oral communication skills

      ·Executive presence and in support of internal and external visibility and market exposure

      ·Must be comfortable working closely with customers, senior sales executives and media

      ·Excellent time and project management abilities
