Automation Engineer

Prudential’s US Customer Office is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with extensive work experience in defining and rolling out automation frameworks, execution plans, issue triage, reporting and presentation to a diverse set of stakeholders. You will collaborate directly with a team of UX and visual designers, software engineers to support world class, modern application user experiences.

Responsibilities:

·        Experience with modern testing platforms and frameworks (i.e. Selenium, BrowserStack, Jasmine/Karma, Protractor, Puppeteer)

·        Strong knowledge documenting and coding test specification, test suites, test harnesses, execution plans, reports

·        Strong knowledge working in a CI/CD enterprise environment (Jenkins, Load/Performance Tools, and API)

·        Knowledge of REST, HTML, CSS, JS and JS frameworks (i.e. Angular, React, Vue.js)

·        Firm understanding of application idiosyncrasies across host/OS, device type or viewport/orientation

·        Contributes to technology-specific test processes, best practices and living enterprise standards

·        Understanding of WCAG 2.0, WAI-ARIA and related specifications; comfortable using assistive technologies such as JAWS, VoiceOver or NVDA

·        Assists in the training/mentoring of team members, including testers, developers, and business analysts and implements organization-wide Quality Process initiatives to ensure Quality of deliverables

Qualifications

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Systems Validation, Computer Software/Engineering or a related field. Alternatively, we will accept an Associate degree or foreign equivalent in a related field plus two (3-4) years applicable work experience.
