Associate Program Manager

Job Description
The Customer Experience & Growth team is a small, focused organization with the strategic role to transform the digital experience of IBM. Our task is to define and articulate IBM’s customer experience by working across all business units and functions to bring together the value of IBM to the delight of clients, partners and users. We design the journeys for how our clients go travel from discovery to delight, the design system and architecture of ibm.com, and the growth engine and engagement systems and processes that bring that journey to life.

Main tasks
  • Assist in the construction and socialization of “Initiative Map” across DBG (Digital Business Group); map projects to customer journey and facilitate prioritization and interlock within and across DBG, Units and Geos
  • Help support committing the GTM model of how IBM links marketing campaigns, sales plays, offerings and support teams to the IBM strategic initiatives to create visibility and clarity of aligning content and offerings to journeys
  • Support Comms Strategy deployment; support running the collaboration forums, governance body and executive stakeholder alignment to establish strong communication and standards for our journey and customer experience programs
  • Support and oversee job role evolution of people, processes and artifacts required for IBM’s digital experience working cross-functionally with corporate strategy, executives, discipline leads – working with early adopters to refine and drive change; responsible for scaling new operating mindset across target stakeholders

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Exposure to driving transformation initiatives in multi-division, large organizations with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of IBM structure & strong messaging skills to connect audiences to initiatives to create conditions for change
  • Proven at driving business outcomes through iterative, agile delivery
  • Personal drive to outperform, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to be an evangelist, speaker, writer and excellent communication skills
  • Proven Program management and Design Thinking skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
