Associate Brand Manager, Digestive Health

The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Brand Manager - Digestive Health, are to: 


  • Support the Senior/Brand Manager by leading the development and execution of marketing plans that will enable the brand to set and execute a plan to meet its volume targets, share targets and overall business objectives;
  • Analyze the business and competitive environment on a continual basis, using strong data and sound judgment to make recommendations to the brand team for ways to better meet short and long-term business goals;
  • Lead cross-functional teams needed to achieve key brand initiatives by defining the objectives for the initiatives and managing the team, timelines and resources needed;
  • Assist in the development of market research projects by identifying information gaps and working with the Sr./Brand Manager and Market Research Development manager to recommend and execute plans to fill the information voids;
  • Work with the consumer promotion department to set strategy and determine objectives for consumer promotion;
  • Manage consumer promotion team to achieve on-time production and execution of key tactics;
  • Partner with sales strategy and determine appropriate objectives and initiatives to best achieve brand imperatives in the retail environment;
  • Gain a strong understanding of the medical, regulatory, legal and manufacturing environments for the brand as they relate to key brand initiatives and build relationships with key contacts in each of these areas;
  • Assist in the management and development of the brand's Profit & Loss (P&L), providing input on recommendations for financial planning to achieve financial objectives;
  • Assist Senior/Brand Manager with advertising development process, including development of creative briefs and advertising strategy through production;
  • Support the strategic brand plans that not only deliver on annual and longer term financial objectives, but also protect brand equity and enhance brand health.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of  three years of work experience in a brand marketing role within the consumer packaged goods (CPG)/HealthCare environment;
  • Sound knowledge of all principal areas of marketing;
  • Strong Interpersonal skills;
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal with emphasis on presentation skills);
  • Self-management and self-awareness;
  • Critical Thinking skills (ability to access or analyze a situation and derive optimal path for action);
  • Strong Mircrosoft Office Suite Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Strong capability to analyze data and use findings;
  • Self-motivation;
  • Flexibility and adaptability;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Teamwork and leadership.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • M.B.A./Masters with at least one year of work experience in brand marketing within the CPG/HealthCare environment.
