ADP is hiring a Associate Banking Representative/ACH Professional. In this position, the primary purpose of the Associate Banking Representative/ACH Professional is to process cardholder direct deposits originating from both the client as well as third parties. The Direct Deposit Department is responsible for processing both credits and debits to cardholder accounts. The primary function of this position is to ensure that the funds that are deposited into the cardholder's account are processed correctly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Confirming direct deposit file received from the issuing bank.
  • Sort deposit sources based on known originators versus new originators.
  • Investigate and research multiple load errors, which involves verifying load source association.
  • Resolving direct deposit issues both internally and external. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is vital.
  • Knowledge of banking rules and regulations
  • Ensure that departmental procedures as well as regulations are met
  • This position requires considerable evaluation and good judgment skills
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday 3:30pm -12:00am PST

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years call center or customer service
Language Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to write emails and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively with clients, cardholders, and employees with ADP
Analytical Skills
  • Proven ability to problem solve, prioritize tasks, and meet required deadline
  • Superior attention to detail required

Technical Skills

  • Superior skill set in the use of the following software applications: Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Basic computer skills required

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
