Associate Analyst, Account Maintenance and Operations

Description About the Position: Execute admin and office management related tasks for the Syracuse Account Maintenance and Operations Department. Act as backup to Supervisors as needed. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Onboarding/Work Changes/Terminations Assist Supervisors in the recruitment process Coordination of new hire, facilities, computer, task assignment, time entry, IEX set up Exception Time Entry, Vacation Quotas, IEX changes, schedule changes, huddles/hubs, audits Headcount/Org chart maintenance Order supplies Escalation routing and tracking Performance Hub Roll-out Assistance Challenge existing processes and continuously seek ways to do things better in order to drive greater efficiencies for the business through a focus on accuracy, productivity and customer service. Collaborate with Supervisors, AMO Quality & Performance; supporting and continuous improvements. Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to obtain and share information that will benefit National Grid. Ensure local metrics are up to date in reporting hub Development opportunity for future Supervisor or Quality / Performance Analyst Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required: College degree preferred or 1 to 4 years of applicable experience required Understanding of Customer facing systems (CSS, CRIS, MWork, Storms, and others) preferred Experience working in a matrixed environment. Organized and detail oriented. Proven influencing skills. Structured and clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to recognize and implement process improvements. Holding People Accountable: Communicates the need for ongoing high performance levels (accuracy, consistency, timeliness) from supervisors and account maintenance and operations staff in turn escalates performance concerns to department manager. Conceptual Thinking: Sees patterns and trends in customer information and performance levels, taking steps to make corrective action based on operational understanding and experience of previous performance. Team Leadership: Encourages and supports team effectiveness by soliciting input from analysts, supervisors, and representatives communicating expectations across the Account Maintenance & Operations and customer departments and delegating responsibilities while providing structure within a high-volume environment. Analytical Thinking: In seeking to improve and make Account Maintenance & Operations more effective the role holder sees multiple relationships in the Customer Service process, identifying several likely causes or consequences of developing operations and systems – and the links beyond the department.
