Analyst, myHR Service Center (1803068) - Florham Park, NJ or Remote Where the Chemistry Happens The myHR Shared Service Center is the face of Corporate HR Services to all Employees, Managers and the HR team in North America. This position resides within myHR Service Center team and serves as a single point of contact for BASF employees who seek guidance in the areas of HR policies, programs, systems and procedures, including employee relations issues (i.e. work environment, ethical concerns, performance issues, conflict resolution, learning and development, etc.) As the single point the myHR Service Center is designed to be a comprehensive human resource platform that contains both a self-service portal and HR Website, as well as, a team of HR professionals providing answers and guidance consistently, accurately and timely resolution to HR related inquiries and issue. In a high-volume customer service focused call center environment, the myHR Service Center, HR Services Analyst is responsible for providing guidance and answers to employees’ inquiries and issue resolution regarding policy & procedures, guiding employees with HR tasks and navigational support of all HR systems. Additionally, you will be the key HR contact for employees for all Employee Relations related issues (i.e. work environment, ethical concerns, performance issues, conflict resolution, learning and development, life cycle changes, etc.) This position will partner with myHR Manager Resource Team, HR COE’s, Legal, EEO Compliance, Labor Relations etc. as required to provide consistent and timely resolution to employee inquiries and issues. This role will also function as back-up support to the Manager Resource Team, managing intake and triage managers’ request for escalation related to: People Management & Coaching, Corrective or Disciplinary Action, Involuntary Separations and Counseling & Legal Review for Position Eliminations.
Formula for Success: Leveraging your HR support experience you will:
  • Collaboratively work as a Shared Services team member and successfully manage incoming employee calls/e-mails and document all inquiries/issues in the firm’s case management system for tracking, information gathering and/or troubleshooting.
  • Effectively partner with the myHR Manager Resource Team working with managers on the resolution of employee relations topics .
  • Take on a leadership role in case management and issue resolution. Your strong judgement skills will prompt escalation of cases that require further support to our Labor Relations team, Legal, COE’s and EEO Compliance teams where further investigation, intervention, or more in-depth support is required to resolve an issue.
  • Provide consultative and helpful navigational support on the utilization of all HR systems (i.e., myHR Kiosk, Success Factors, Taleo, program websites, etc.).
  • Incorporate our procedures, policy information, knowledgebase and other reference materials, while assisting employees with support and clear interpretation of HR policies, programs, systems and procedures, including employee relations issues (i.e. work environment, ethical concerns, performance issues, conflict resolution, learning and development, life cycle changes, etc.)
  • Apply your analytical and problem- solving skills to research, process and resolve complex inquiries which may require deviation from standard screens, scripts and procedures.
