Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced programmer with proven ability to learn quickly and deliver efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a talented and driven shared services team. Primary responsibilities would be development in both .NET and the CGI Ratabase engine, following Agile practices.

The team’s focus is on efficient and quality delivery with far reaching positive impact for the Bond business unit.

The right candidate should:
  • Under general supervision, complete programming tasks including estimating design, analysis, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, application health monitoring/alerting, and implementation of programs
  • With guidance manages interaction between other system teams, vendor teams, and technical support areas as required.
  • For observed system issue troubleshoot to a point, conducts impact analysis, define solution options and escalate appropriately.
  • This job does not lead others.


Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs system programming tasks of medium complexity.
  • Tasks require proficient programming and analytical skills.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through professional communication, follow-up, and responsiveness to issues. Actively seeks opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.
  • Continues to develop business knowledge while learning how work assignments in both CGI Ratabase and .NET, to address business issues,
  • May begin to provide guidance and mentorship to lower level technical employees. Applies knowledge of current industry trends and techniques to formulate solutions within the context of assigned projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Performs basic Kanban/Lean Planning activities and adheres to the best practices of this delivery practice.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of programming/development experience required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 3 years of programming/development experience preferred.

Demonstrates an aptitude for learning and applying new programming languages and/or software development disciplines. Continues to develop understanding of the supported business systems. Beginning to develop the ability to recognize and analyze basic incident/defect trends and appropriately escalate. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate thoughts/designs/ideas in an unambiguous manner and adjusts communication based on audience. Requires weekend work hours. Requires overnight work hours. Requires holiday work hours (Federal and religious). Requires extended periods (1 or more weeks) of travel as needed. Requires travel up to 5% of time.
