The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Cards and Retail Services, Deposit Products Group, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Payment Solutions, and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Its guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.

The Role:
We are seeking are seeking 2 Agile Coach Managers to join our PVSI Speed to Market team. The Speed to Market initiative is an end-to-end Agile transformation approach, for full lifecycle product management. It aims to strategically accelerate how quickly we move from ideas to production; bringing customer value to market, and delivering better quality products to customers, more frequently. Speed to Market looks beyond customary technology and development to uplift organizational constructs and how people work together to make decisions. Committed to partnering with others in Wells Fargo, Speed to Market seeks to create value and help our customers succeed financially.

Actively partnering with Speed to Market and Line of Business leadership this individual will be a change agent and Agile Coach Manager fostering the transformation of Lines of Business, and the adoption of an Agile culture across Wells Fargo. Tasked with leading a team of coaches as we pursue the advancement and scaling of agile as part of line of business transformations, the successful candidate will help us develop future best practices, people, and our evolving forward strategy to successfully execute in support of our corporate vision and goals.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and grow team of Agile Coaches through training, mentoring, and coaching while also supplementing as a Coach when needed
  • Coach people managers and leaders through change moments, helping them embrace Agile behaviors and transformation through championing, training, and mentoring across the organization
  • Coach teams and individuals in their understanding of Agile Methodologies and Agile Practices, improving their interactions and ensuring they have the right process and tools for their success
  • Embrace and champion Agile values and principles across the Bank, and in our Agile community
  • Monitor Scrum team performance through quantitative and qualitative measures of value, outcome, velocity, morale, and satisfaction
  • Provide strategic thought leadership on impediments to accelerated delivery, and partner to develop, implement, and promote Agile best practices (including tools where appropriate)
  • Facilitate planning and coordination between and among Agile teams for progress and impediments via Scrum of Scrums, Big Room Planning, and Program oversight (as it pertains to Scrum team maturity)
  • Collaborate with PMOs, peers, and leaders on portfolio governance for Agile teams; facilitate the start or stop of teams based on line of business investment decisions and prioritization
  • Facilitate organizational learning, change management, and process adoption of Agile via metrics, benefits realization, outcomes, retrospective findings, and interactive communications
  • Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, guiding our transformation partners, promoting an environment which focuses on team maturity, successful delivery, and continuous sustainable improvements
  • Promote practices which help with scalability of incremental delivery and continuous integration and remove any blockers from achieving incremental delivery
  • Embrace ambiguity, and remain flexible for shifts in priorities, navigating with readiness and efficiency while fostering an open and collaborative environment to manifest change


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
  • 3+ years of leadership experience

  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
  • Strong presentation skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 8 years relevant industry Agile experience with a minimum 3 years as an Agile Coach
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring Agile Coaches in Agile transformation activities
  • Ability to manage a geographically dispersed team.
  • Strong leader with demonstrable integrity and business acumen
  • analytical and problem solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Self-motivated collaborator and visionary able to patiently overcome obstacles
  • Servant minded leader able to lead and work with multiple diverse roles and personalities

  • Working knowledge of Agile tools and software
  • BA/BS Degree, along with One or more related certifications: ICP – ACC; ICP – ACP; ICP – ACF; Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) required


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
