Advertising & Analytics - Senior Manager, Digital Research (AdCo)

Overall Purpose: Responsible for providing comprehensive analytic marketing research for groups in marketing and business planning. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Position provides comprehensive analysis and marketing research to marketing and business planning. Accesses, verifies and organizes market trends, competitive intelligence and sales data. Position is responsible for defining requirements for analysis and assessing potential business impact. Applies advanced principles, theories and concepts to recommendation formulation. Projects or forecasts future market research needs and evaluates impact on strategic market planning objectives and strategies. Decisions have a profound impact on the total organization. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments, and may provide guidance to other personnel. Education: Typically requires a bachelors degree. Experience: Typically requires advanced knowledge of market research field and 5-7 years of experience. Supervisory: No.

Required Qualifications:

  • Five years relevant work experience in marketing or market research
  • Proven track record managing complex projects and experience with preparing business reports for executives
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direction to a team of research vendors; this role will manage complex, time-constrained projects
  • Excellent communication skills, and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a persuasive team player who can negotiate with and influence a wide range of business constituencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen
  • Collaborative working style, strong listening skills, with ability to incorporate multiple viewpoints into discussion and decision making
Desired Qualifications:
  • Six or more years experience in marketing or market research
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or Mathematics
  • Experience with advertising and media
