Advertising & Analytics Director Program PMO (AdCo)

Overall Purpose

Responsible for leading the Product Process Management Office for AT&T’s Advertising and Analytics organization.This supervisory role will be lead a team of managers that will work across the senior leadership team to manage product performance and delivery.This team reports into AT&T Advertising & Analytics (AdCo)Business Operations and the Chief Financial Officer of AT&T’s Advertising & Analytics business unit.The candidate will lead alignment across the organization including sales channels, marketing, technology, marketing and finance.In addition, they will lead commercialization council that is chaired by the CEO of the business unit and represented by the CEO’s direct reports.The purpose of the council is to drive accountability and create transparency around the product performance within the business.

It is critical that the role holder utilize project management, data driven decision making, and technical acumen to drive the best workforce efficiencies.

Key competencies required for the Director Product PMO & Support:

  1. Process Design – Align AdCo on a Product Development Lifecycle process, which includes defining the templates, develop gates, and process flows

  2. Product Knowledge – Challenged to understand the AdCo suite of Products end to end in order to support both the Product and Product Marketing Teams.

  3. Business Knowledge – Maintain a strong understanding of organizations within AdCo and key AT&T operating company partners for proper impact assessments

  4. Data Reporting & Dashboarding – Provide leadership and client reporting (Product Teams & Product Marketing) of program status, consolidated view of product updates.

  5. Technical Project Management- As part of solutioning product enhancements, engaging the proper technical resources (both internal and external) for completion

  6. Non-Technical Project Management – As part of solutioning product enhancements, engaging the proper non-technical resources (both internal and external) for all timelines, requirements, risk assessments, and key organizational functions

  7. Solutioning – Support Product Owners by engaging proper resources and helping support solutions to proposed project enhancements/changes

  8. Resource Management – Ensure proper allocation, prioritization, and assignment of project resources to product enhancements and changes

  9. Prioritization – Determine process to properly prioritize inflow of approximately a large volume of annual projects

  10. Business Cases – Will support the coordination of business cases work and maintenance of these cases throughout the project lifecycle

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Projects and/or programs are generally very large and complex and may meet short or long-term needs of the business. Takes projects/programs from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project implementation or program development. Defines project/program scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Education:

Advanced degree in business or related subject.

Experience:

Typically requires 7 or more years of experience and at least two years of management responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • A successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 year’s experience in project management, large portfolio management, and executive communications

  • Strong and well defined communications, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills a must

  • Project Management background essential
