Advertising & Analytics - Associate Director – Technology (AdCo)

The Associate Director - Technology
will provide leadership for the Advertising product delivery teams within the
Advertising Technology Group – Engineering team, Data Enablement, supporting
the new AT&T Advertising and Analytics company.

The position will be leading several agile
scrum teams in the delivery for industry - leading-edge solutions for the data
enablement products supporting the overall pivot to Advertising as a
Service.

The landscape and industry you will
support functions at a unique and aggressive pace where the you will lead
several product development team’s that use the scaled agile development
methodology, allowing the team to self-organize and make changes rapidly and
quickly.

You will lead, staff and manage and
organize the scrum teams as well as optimize the teams to deliver technical
solutions that primarily will support Data Enablement but will include other
product streams.

Primary
Responsibilities:

The
incumbent interviews and selects employees, maintains proper staffing levels,
allocates resources,
supervises teams daily operations, productivity, identifies areas for
improvement, develops
action plans to improve performance, develops teams technical and managerial
expertise through
on-the-job and formal training opportunities, enforces Company policies, takes
necessary disciplinary
action, evaluates individual performance for annual performance review, merit increases,
promotions and other employment status changes, and conducts long-range
planning for
the team. Responsible for budget management, and coordinating, evaluating, and
partnering

with
technology vendors, outside consultants and internal dotted line resources as
needed. Acts as
main contact with other organizations to identify and quantify business issues
associated with specific
projects, develops and implements business strategy, and assists in setting
strategic technical
direction. May also manage complex enterprise-wide, multiple applications, or
system development
projects by working with clients to develop business cases, defining business
and/or
technical requirements, defining the projects scope and work schedules,
estimating necessary resources,
allocating capital and expense funding, and reconciling the actual expenses to

estimates
to keep the project within budget

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
