Advertising & Analytics - Associate Director - Product Development (AdCo)

Job Description

Overall Purpose: This position is responsible for conceiving and developing next generation advertising strategies, maintaining product roadmaps for each active initiative, including business requirements, technical and design strategy, and measurement capabilities.  The ideal candidate will have both a technical background as well as General Management experience. Some key skills for success include strong communication, insightful analysis, consultative approach and proactive business stewardship.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • This position oversees the implementation of product strategies and tactics, integrating the needs of the business with those of the market in order to drive revenue growth for the Digital Advertising business across all devices/platforms, while working with key stakeholders- Product, Platform, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Legal teams. 
  • Own the product efforts around prioritization, definition, roadmap, timelines, development, testing and deployment of ad formats, features, integrations and wholly new products.
  • This position oversees activities to support the research, evaluation analysis and documentation of new development requirements.
  • Build and grow relationships with vendors and programming partners to identify new opportunities, drive new revenue streams and successfully execute partnerships.
  • Consults and provides expertise on providing network modeling and simulation testing for customers.
  • Manage and execute 3rd party integrations (Freewheel, Viewability, Transcoding Services, etc).
  • MUST HAVE experience with Digital Video, Dynamic Ad Insertion, VAST, IAB standards, SCTE and AGILE.
  • Experience within the entertainment industry, advertising eco-system, MVPD environments or OTT is beneficial to consideration.

Education: Typically requires a bachelors degree.

Experience: Typically requires 5-7 years of experience in area of professional responsibility or as a supervisor.
