Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally.  Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

Eastdil Secured, a Wells Fargo subsidiary, is a real estate investment banking firm that provides its clients with transactional services focusing on the recapitalization of real estate assets.  Eastdil Secured designs capital market strategies and structures for real estate owners and serves as an intermediary on their behalf. 

Opportunities

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Eastdil Secured New York team. The primary job function is to answer phones and direct calls, greet and direct visitors and support the office with ad-hoc administrative tasks. Duties will include:

  • Greet guests and escort them to meeting rooms/provide refreshments as necessary;
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect to the correct person;
  • Maintain conference room calendars; assist with scheduling Video Conference meetings
  • Register all guests with building security
  • Coordinate and place catering orders, responsible for food setup and cleanup for in-house meetings;
  • Monitor reception area and conference room and ensure area is kept tidy at all times;
  • Ad-hoc administrative requests such as updating contact information in internal database;
  • Process employee expense reports;
  • Provide coverage for other assistants in their absence;
  • Occasionally assist in editing and formatting of presentations:  PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
  • Printing, binding and assembling presentation materials.

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.



Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative support experience

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of outstanding organizational skills, productivity, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate is consistently positive, approachable and an articulate speaker who has excellent interpersonal skills. Candidate should be an energetic self-starter who is conscientious, proactive and detail-oriented. It is strongly preferred that the candidate has the following skills and attributes:

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Strong sense of urgency, detail oriented and ability to handle confidential information;
  • Organized with ability to effectively prioritize tasks;
  • Flexible, team player, ability to work overtime when necessary;
  • Ability to work effectively in fast paced environment, under time constraints and meeting multiple deadlines;
  • Desire to function in a team-oriented atmosphere.
