Active Directory Sr. Associate - Locations Open

A career in our Identity and Access Management practice, within Cybersecurity and Privacy services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurity programme that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth. As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organisations, partners and customers. You’ll play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats. Our team helps organisations manage their controls over access to critical systems and assets by focusing on infrastructure access management and maintaining security on processes and services.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
  • Train and lead staff
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients 
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred skills

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, ADFS, Azure, and the underlying components that support these technologies, such as DNS, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML/OAuth, PoweShell, WMI, and similar network and management protocols
  • Enterprise implementation and management of Microsoft technologies from both an IT and security point of view
  • Extensive grasp of the threats posed to on-premises and cloud Active Directory environments, such as lateral movement, credential theft, and abuse of privileged access
  • Microsoft Windows system security, controls and management tools, specifically in one or more of the following information security domains: Security Architecture and Strategy (Integrated Risk Management), Identity and Access Management, Focus on Entitlements, Federation, Data Leakage Prevention, Focus on Data Flow, Encryption, Large Complex Security Program Execution/Implementation, Security Function Design and Governance, Incident Management and Security Infrastructure

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Implementing and operating Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure, and related Microsoft technologies in large enterprise settings
  • Understanding of security threats facing Active Directory environments, including Pass-the-Hash, Pass-the-Ticket, and similar privileged account abuse scenarios 
  • Implementing and operating security controls to protect Active Directory, such as Privileged Account Management, Red Forest/Enhanced Security Administrative Environments, and SIEM/monitoring
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Developing an awareness of Firm services
  • Communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner
  • Delivering clear requests for information
  • Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks
  • Communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor
  • Understanding personal and team roles
  • Contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members 
  • Proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback
  • Providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff
  • Leveraging creative thinking and problem solving skills, individual initiative, and utilizing MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes
  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats, including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts, assisting business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data
  • Supporting practice management for a specific operation or process
  • Contributing to project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and successful completion of engagement work-streams

Minimum years experience required

  • 3yrs

  • Bachelor Degree

  • This position requires weekly travel, nationwide, to client sites. Home/Office location can be at any of our PwC major offices
