.Net Application Development Team Lead

Job Description

Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF) is searching for a highly motivated App Systems Engineer 4. We are seeking energetic and experienced technical service professionals to join our development environment.

This person will perform a variety of duties on a day to day basis including development, security, code, and peer reviews, escalated production and defect support and

troubleshooting, application maintenance, monitoring and/or balancing and security remediation activities and may include one or more of the following:
• Provides technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs.
• Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions.
• Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff.
• Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts.
• Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
• Participates in overall systems testing.
• Leads the migration of applications to production.
• Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides.
• As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
• Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.
• Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 5+ years of .net experience
  • 5+ years of ASP.Net experience
  • 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 5+ years of VB.NET experience
  • 5 + years of VB.net experience, C# experience, or a combination of both
  • 5+years of experience developing ASP.NET MVC applications using the Razor syntax

  • Ability to coordinate, lead and facilitate group meetings
  • Ability to develop or support high availability, high volume transaction processing systems
  • Ability to dissect technical problems, analyze data, and recommend potential solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of GitHub experience
  • Familiary with SoapUI for web services simulation testing

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
