Provides technical support to MD&D product sales of new and established accounts. Cooperates with sales to accomplish sales objectives and greater market penetration. This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions. Provides technical support to physicians, nurses and other medical professionals on company products and services. Serves multiple midsized to large accounts in a prescribed territory. Schedules appointments and makes preplanned sales presentations to customers. Demonstrates proper use of products to physicians. Meets with customer accounts on regular basis to ensure proper service and customer satisfaction. Evaluates, diagnoses and repairs malfunctioning equipment in response to service calls. Provides technical support for upgrades and other special service programs to support field service activities. Develops customer and product focused technical packages for customer use. Prepares technical analysis reports and documents as required. Reviews customer orders and product sales and establishes improvement plans. Follows up with customers, gives technical and professional support. Collaborates with other departments to ensure a timely resolution. Develops technical needs forecast by account and submits to management.
