<p> <span style="display: none"> </span><span style="display: none"> </span><strong>Training Supervisor<br /> Poulsbo Washington</strong></p> <p> Gravitec Systems, Inc. is hiring for the position of Training Supervisor.  This full-time salaried position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Training Department staff and training facilities.  Responsibilities are categorized into three basic areas; staff, facility and customer relations. </p> <p> <strong>Staff Supervision</strong><br /> The Training Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operation and supervision of instructional staff.  The Training Supervisor will work with others to monitor the travel and instruction schedule according to customer and company demands. </p> <p> The Training Supervisor will also be responsible for interviewing prospective instructor applicants and conducting performance reviews of existing staff. </p> <p> <strong>Facilities</strong><br /> The Training Supervisor is responsible for the appearance and function of three internal classrooms and the training floor.  Duties include monitoring the function of classroom technology (projectors, computers & presentations), monitoring and maintenance of display equipment and the monitoring and maintenance of fall protection, rescue equipment and training aids used on the training floor. </p> <p> <strong>Customer Relations</strong><br /> The Training Supervisor will be responsible to conduct fall protection and rescue courses as the need arises.  Periodic quality control checks and review of all course evaluations are part of the Training Supervisor position.  The Training Supervisor will interact closely with sales and instructional staff to develop custom fall protection and rescue courses and maintain existing programs.  The Training Supervisor will interact with customers to handle questions, inquiries, and other customer service related issues. </p> <p> <strong>A Training Supervisor will possess:</strong></p> <ul> <li> 5 years experience, conducting instructor led, skill based safety training.  Preference will be given to applicants with experience conducting formal training in technical rescue, fall protection, confined space, industrial rescue, first aid, or rope access.</li> <li> An honest, hardworking attitude, motivated to provide high-quality education to students.</li> <li> Experience in managing staff, focusing on developing a team attitude in providing services to our customers.</li> <li> The ability to travel frequently to attend trade shows, speaking engagements; deliver courses, and other services at customer locations throughout the US and other countries.</li> <li> An understanding of adult education and fundamental instructional design to ensure that education programs are effective, efficient, and of high value for the customer.</li> <li> Familiarity with fall protection regulations, standards, and organizations, including but not limited to, OSHA, ANSI, IACET, SPRAT, IRATA, and ISFP.  Preference will be given to applicants with SPRAT or IRATA Level III Certification.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>The position includes the following compensation and benefit structure:</strong></p> <ul> <li> Full-time Salary (negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience)</li> <li> Medical Benefits (medical, dental, vision)</li> <li> 401 K</li> <li> Health Savings Account</li> <li> 10 days Paid Vacation</li> <li> 7 Paid Holidays</li> </ul> <p> <strong>E-mail resume and cover letter using the "Email your resume" link above.</strong><br /> To learn more about our company, visit our website at www.gravitec.com</p>
