This position is responsible for the maintenance and effectiveness of the trading system.   Defines and configures the trade system to ensure system integrity and ease of use for the end user.  Provides support to end users in the implementation and utilization of rules and workflows.
Principle Responsibilities:
  1. Works with portfolio managers, traders and compliance department to ensure completeness and accuracy of the trade system.
  2. Designs, develops, tests and implements trade rules in accordance with business requirements and priorities.
  3. Works with external authorities to ensure adherence with all current and impending trading and reporting regulations.
  4. Participate in the implementation of system, product, and process enhancements that affect investment trading systems data, compliance and reporting aspects.
  5. Analyzes reports generated by Charles River and works with Portfolio Managers to resolve exceptions.
  6. Enhances and maintains Charles River system reports to meet business specifications.
  7. Analyzes and resolves data issues, and proactively works to identify and eliminate recurring data problems.
  8. Reviews TOEINT reports to find exceptions and resolves errors quickly and accurately.
  9. Work as a project team member to test and install upgrades as they are available.
  10. Additional duties, as requested.

  Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of the trading and trade compliance processes
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
  • Strong technical skills
  • Proven ability to build requirements, in partnership with the business line
  • Ability to multi-task and work as part of a project team
  • Strong commitment to procedures and controls
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and attention to detail as well as strong desire to learn
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to think and act independently
  • Must have solid organizational skills, the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and the ability to understand new concepts quickly
  • SEI and Charles River experience is a plus
