VP, Sales Solutions

NCS (Nielsen Catalina Solutions) is a purchase-based ad targeting and ROAS measurement firm serving the CPG industry. We integrate in-store purchase data from over 90 MM households with media exposure data from TV, online, mobile, print, radio and CRM. We are looking for a VP to run a newly formed Sales Solutions group, which has revenue for a set of products that are sold across clients, including Programmatic and Reach based planning and measurement.

This individual will manage a team and also be an active participant in business development efforts across advertisers, agencies, publishers and third party platforms such as DSPs and Agency Trading Desks. They will also be responsible for creating strategic partnerships that drive revenue. We need someone that can work collaboratively with NCS resources and parent companies (Nielsen and Catalina) on go-to-market engagements to maximize NCS revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • At least 7 years of total experience, 5 years of experience leading programmatic and/or data-driven TV sales operations

  • Understanding of both programmatic data and linear TV practices

  • Proven record of performance meeting/exceeding revenue goals

  • Deep understanding of the knobs and levers of digital data – driving demand & fulfilling supply

  • Deep understanding of TV ratings

  • Established Rolodex of mid and high level relationships within target clients

  • 5+ years of management experience, especially with regards to developing high potential talent

  • Challenger/strategic sales and business development competency

  • Comfort and proficiency in consultative selling at enterprise level

  • Proactive self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team

  • Capability to thrive in entrepreneurial environment and start-up environment

  • Understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry preferred
