Overview

Mastercard Loyalty Solutions provides a range of solutions to financial institutions and non-financial institutions and merchants to help them grow their business profitably. Our issuer value propositions include cardholder benefits and insurances (which protect cardholders and make their day to day lives easier), rewards and card-linked offers platforms and program management capability, and customer service delivery (leveraging our global network of assistance centers). Our merchant solutions enable retailers to attract new customers, cross-sell to existing customers and win back existing customers leveraging spending data and Mastercard’s network capabilities.

We are looking for a highly experienced Product and Platform Development leader, with direct experience of managing the development of new solutions in the rewards, offers and/or benefits and insurance arena.

Leadership of the Regional Product and Platform Development team – reporting to SVP, Loyalty Solutions NAM Lead.


Role

• Work with Issuer Value Proposition (IVP) and Merchant Value Proposition (MVP) teams to develop the strategic road-map and go to market for enhancement of our product, program management and platform capabilities across North America (NAM) region.
• Liaise with regional and divisional Core Products, and GCCM teams to receive and consolidate ‘voice of the customer’ inputs (customer insights), and market intelligence to ensure our products & platforms meet customer needs, as well as develop new benefits to meet these needs.
• Execute against the above program management and platform enhancement road-map, identifying, screening and executing commercial vendor or partnership agreements with third parties to enhance Mastercard’s loyalty products and platforms proposition.
• In concert with global P&P, IVP and MVP teams develop the pricing for the products, program management solutions and platforms that addresses NAM needs.
• Partner with the regional Operations & Technology teams (CIS, COS and Customer Delivery) to ensure timely and quality delivery of platform enhancements. Partner with Global Customer Care Management team to ensure that we achieve our customer experience scores.
• Partner with the Issuer Value Proposition lead, Merchant Value Proposition lead, regional Core Products leads, Advisors consulting group and CAMs to educate them on the Loyalty Solutions capabilities that can enable issuers to enhance their business performance.
• Manage Regional providers and offer providers which includes product development, T&Cs, pricing. Ensuring that vendor payments and POs are in place.
• Develop Go To Market plans for new products and take them through Peer Review.

• Experience in understanding the key metrics that influence products performance.
• Proactively monitor and evaluate market trends and competitor activities.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve, enhance and develop the loyalty products and platforms proposition – taking ownership to scope, prioritize and deliver.
• Track record in leading product and platform teams in developing and managing products, and focusing on delivering differentiated products that drive revenue and strategic benefit to stakeholders.
• Knowledge and understanding of Mastercard’s proprietary platforms in the loyalty solutions area, a plus
