US Pharmacovigilance - Graduate Summer Intern (Whippany, NJ)

The primary responsibilities of this role, US Pharmacovigilance Graduate Summer Internship (Whippany, NJ), are to: 

 

  • Support US PV Training activities which may include preparation of training materials, scheduling training sessions and assisting with presentations;
  • Assist with maintenance tasks relating to regulatory compliance activities involving document archiving and inspection/audit preparation;
  • Support PV Operations activities; including identification of problems or inefficiencies in current processes, creating and implementing measurable improvements;
  • Assist with general organizational activities involving regulatory files, tracking spreadsheets, and other support documents as needed;
  • Assist with PV responsibilities including the receipt, tracking, forwarding and reconciliation of Adverse Event reports;
  • Support Project Management activities;
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a  Master’s degree with a focus in pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, drug safety, clinical research or relatable science/technical field;
  • Eligible candidates will be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program at the time of their application, or within six (6) months of submitting their application. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to display poise and confidence and to project professionalism in interacting with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
