TIAA is currently seeking a Senior Business Management Analyst with a focus in employee engagement and communications to work in the Office of the IT Chief Operating Officer. The position will be located in either Iselin, New Jersey or Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the team by providing quality deliverables and support in a fast paced environment.

The Sr. Business Management Analyst will support the priorities and help promote Technology and Operations (T&O) as a partner, enabler, and deliverer of value to the business and ultimately to our clients. All tasks, responsibilities and assignments must be completed with the highest level of quality, confidentiality, and the utmost attention to detail. Additionally, this individual should possess a high level of professionalism, experience with working with executives, must be an energetic self-starter, have an exceptional level of problem solving skills, the ability to work well within a team environment, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Finally, the right candidate may be asked to travel periodically with the team and work overtime including some weekends.


Engagement and Human Capital Programs

  • Build and manage culture action plans across the T&O organization to increase employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Define and manage Rewards and Recognition program for technology
  • Provide cross-functional support to the entry-level IT talent pipeline by assisting with logistics and coordination of training
  • Manage the IT Career Path Framework
  • Support IT Diversity Recruiting strategy and work with IT's Women's Council and Diversity and Inclusion Council to implement their programs and objectives
  • Identify and develop relationships with external partners and stakeholders in support of employee engagement


  • Create communications and communications plans in support of major IT initiatives (Drafting, editing and releasing)
  • Develop presentations to be leveraged across IT and the business (Strong PowerPoint skills needed)
  • Assist with quarterly T&O Town hall logistics, planning and delivery
  • Manage multiple channels including meetings and conferences, websites, email, and print
  • Build on and expand relationships with IT communications point of contacts and corporate communications partners to deliver high quality communications
  • Update/Maintain team SharePoint sites, admin folders and miscellaneous tracking systems



  • Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED
  • Minimum 4-7 years' experience working in a business management or communications capacity REQUIRED
  • Hands-on PowerPoint/presentation skills i.e. having worked with PowerPoint in a professional capacity to produce presentations to senior management
  • Demonstrated experience working across business units/functional areas
